1980's

Sherry FitzGerald was founded in 1982 as a result of the amalgamation of two companies, FitzGerald & Partners (founded in 1972) and Sherry & Sons (founded in 1949). Our one and only office back then was on Merrion Row in Dublin 2. A second branch opened in 1989 in Terenure, Dublin 6.

During this difficult economic decade the company recruited for the future by assembling a team
of young property professionals with a gender balanced business philosophy who shared our vision for the future. With this team of people coupled with hard work and dedication our business began to expand. Today Sherry FitzGerald Group is the largest property advisory company in Ireland.
