Philip co-founded Sherry FitzGerald in 1982 when it was formed as a result of an amalgamation of two companies - FitzGerald & Partners (founded 1972) and Sherry & Sons (founded 1950).

Philip thrives on pushing boundaries and this proved a magic ingredient in the development of the hugely successful Sherry FitzGerald Countrywide - the first property franchise model ever launched in Ireland - in which he played a principal role. 75 members joined in the first five years - testament to Philip's exceptional people skills and natural enthusiasm.

Philip is a Fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors of Ireland and a Fellow of the Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute.
