Loreto
10b The Mews
Prince Edward Terrace
Blackrock
Co. Dublin
Description
Architecturally designed by Paul Arnold Architects and completed by Kelliher Miller Architects in 2014. The high-quality workmanship and architectural design is immediately apparent with beautiful Balterio flooring, curved high ceilings, Villeroy & Boch bathrooms and a Nolan solid wood kitchen. Loreto represents the ultimate in south Dublin’s seaside suburbia.
Upon entering the home there is an instant sense of space, light and quality, which is prominent throughout. You are greeted by a large reception hall with beautiful Balterio flooring. These qualities continue through to an exceptionally large, open plan bespoke kitchen which has a large skylight, positioned over a beautiful TV area leading to the kitchen which has double sliding doors opening into the living room. From this room there are floor to ceiling double doors leading to a landscaped rear garden, which is perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco. To the front is a spacious study/ family room, which originally was a fourth bedroom. Upstairs, there are three spacious double bedrooms. The principal bedroom benefits from its large windows flooding the room with natural light as well as providing a view of the rear garden. There is an extra high curved ceiling, walk in wardrobes and Villeroy and Boch ensuite. The remaining bedrooms are spacious double bedrooms; one of which is located to the front all with curved extra high ceilings. Finally upstairs there is a large linen cupboard and a Villeroy and Boch family bathroom.
The Mews benefits from a wonderfully landscaped rear garden which is laid mainly in lawn with high quality Kilsaran paving by Dairmuid Gavin for the patio area, perfect for dining al fresco. There is an out door shed and a Service enclosure. To the front is a paved driveway leading to private gates, behind these gates is a private courtyard perfect for off street parking and storage, this area is paved and mainly laid in stone. There is also a purpose built storage area to discretely store bins and bikes out of sight.
The location of The Mews is very convenient and is just a short walking distance from Blackrock village. Just a stone’s throw away there is two shopping centers, the DART, many boutique shops and a wide variety of eateries. Carysfort Park, Blackrock Park and the seafront are right on your doorstep and the City Centre is approximately 6km away. The N11 with QBC is accessible from the top of Mount Merrion Avenue. There are a number of outstanding schools within walking distance, Carysfort National School, All Saints, Blackrock College, St Andrews and Smurfit School of Business to name just a few.
