Karl joined the company in 2005, having previously worked Lambert Smith Hampton as an Associate Director. He subsequently became one of the founding directors of the niche Retail and Investment firm CS Tierney O’Neill.
Karl has over 17 years of experience as an advisor in the Retail market for both Landlords and Tenants. It is his extensive knowledge of Tenant needs, and his excellent relationships with these Tenants, that has made him a leading expert in his field.

Recent Experience:
Karl has led his team to dispose of two of Ireland’s largest portfolios of stores: First Active on their 50 store disposals, and Irish Nationwide on their 50 store disposals.
Karl has acquired stores for some of Europe’s largest retailers; including New Look, Arcadia, Tommy Hilfiger, Skechers and Clarks. He has also been heavily involved in the acquisition by Poundland of almost 25 stores, and he continues to lead this expansion on their behalf across the country.
From a Landlord point of view, Karl has been heavily involved with The Square in Tallaght, The Crescent Shopping Centre in Limerick, Stillorgan Shopping Centre, and Golden Island Shopping Centre in Athlone.
More recently Karl has worked closely for receivers, banks and NAMA, advising on property values, strategies as well as in an asset management role.
