Robert specialises in rating assessments for all commercial sector occupiers and has successfully represented numerous clients in appealing their Rateable Values.

He additionally provides advice to both landlords and tenants with respect to rent reviews and lease restructuring and specialises in the reviews of non-retail property - specifically office and industrial. 

Recent Experience:

In more recent years Robert has specialised in rating assessments for all commercial sector occupiers and has recently successfully represented clients in the Dundrum Town Centre Tribunal Rates Appeal.  This Tribunal case arose following the implementation of the National Rates Revaluation exercise which Robert has been heavily involved with since it commenced with South Dublin local authority area in 2007 and has since extended to cover Fingal, Dun-Laoghaire/Rathdown and currently Dublin City local authority areas.

Robert graduated with a degree in Surveying in 2002 from the University of Glamorgan in Wales.

Career History:

Robert initially worked with Sherry FitzGerald New Homes where he specialised in residential development appraisals.  He then joined our commercial business working in the Valuation Department where he provided valuation advice and asset valuations of all commercial property for both public and private sectors.
Robert now specialises in the fields of rateable valuation assessments and Landlord and Tenant advice including representing clients at third party disputes have arisen at rent review (Arbitration / Independent Expert).
