Nestling between the mountains and the sea, and set on approx. one acre of landscaped garden and grazing, Woodside is a distinctive example of

late 20th century design further enhanced under the supervision of a local architect renowned for his sense of light and space. It has the added attraction of a log cabin studio and a block of three loose boxes. There is also full planning permission for 2 houses on the grounds and there is the option of buying these sites separately or the house on the full site of 3.68 acres. Woodside offers a scenic country lifestyle convenient to village amenities, combined with investment options for family members or future pension.

It is hard to believe, sitting in the eat in kitchen or at the dining room table, seeing the great Sugarloaf on the western horizon beyond the

rolling countryside once part of Huguenot banking La Touche family’s Bellevue Demesne (now home to Delgany Golf Club), that one is so convenient to Delgany and Greystones, and a couple of minutes’ drive from the Glenview Hotel over the bridge at Glen-of-the-Downs with immediate access to the N11/M11/M50 corridor for commuters. At the

gateway to some of Co Wicklow’s most scenic countryside, Woodside offers nearby forest walks in Kindlestown Wood, and leafy country lanes

to explore at leisure.

For young families, there are a number of primary and two secondary schools in the vicinity; and retail therapy in Greystones where citybound buses, DART and Aircoach Direct all lend connectivity. Leisure amenities abound; from golf clubs to equine pursuits, GAA, rugby, tennis, lawn bowls, sailing, shore angling, and a bridge convention centre.

From the main reception hall, Woodside’s principal reception areas intercommunicate delightfully: a split level dual aspect living room gives way to a south/westerly dining room, in turn opening via bi folding doors to the custom kitchen warmed by a solid fuel stove. In addition, there is a snug T.V. room.

With four bedrooms in all, excluding the T.V. room and upstairs office which were used as bedrooms in the past, the upper level principal bedroom suite is an exciting split level space, a floor to ceiling window maximizing views to the west and capturing the last of the evening sun.

A sweeping avenue skirted by neat lawns leads to the residence and the out houses; and we are confidentially recommend viewing.
