Something Different

Site @ Abhaile, North Beach, Greystones, Co. Wicklow

€295,000 - Asking Price|

“Abhaile”, as its name implies “as Gaeilge”, was home for many years to one of Greystones stalwart characters and daily swimmers; sadly deceased, hence the opportunity for a new owner to try new things using the existing shell to renovate and extend, or more adventurously treating this as a “brown field” site.

What a wonderful location this is! For years apparently languishing in the shade of some of the town’s maritime period homes, but on the cliff walk and approach to the old Darcy’s field football ground; now coming into its own with the super new marina village development next door making this a smart and sophisticated maritime location in which to create a stunning home with some flair and imagination.

“Abhaile” is all boarded up now to protect its structural integrity, but one can see its potential through just walking the site.
