About the Area

Oranmore is a charming village on the outskirts of Galway City. With its major housing developments, it is rapidly becoming a part of Galway's commuter or suburban belt.

Oranmore is situated 9 km east of Galway City on the edge of Oranmore Bay, an inlet of Galway Bay. The focus of local industry has recently shifted from primarily dairy agriculture to tourism, manufacturing and logistics. There are several industrial parks located near the village, such as Deerpark Industrial Estate which has been a hub for industry for many decades particularly in the precast concrete, chemical and steel fabrication industries. Oranmore now has four hotels and several restaurants.

€200,000 - Asking Price|4 Bedrooms, 166 sqm approx

Situated close to Cahergal National School this four bedroom dormer house is deceptive at a first glance. The gardens are in need of a little love and attention but the house itself is a perfect family home. It is well planned, well built, bright and convenient.

Downstairs the sitting room has a feature cast iron open fireplace with a pine surround. To the left of the front door a charming room offers the perfect location for a playroom, study, office or downstairs bedroom. The rear of the house is entirely occupied by a large kitchen, dining area, a utility and a pantry. The kitchen has a generous complement of wood units and a tiled floor. The dining area catches the light from its large windows and double doors leading to the rear garden. The utility is untypically large and is fully fitted. A guest WC completes the downstairs accommodation.

A wooden staircase leads to three charming bedrooms with sloping ceiling. One of the bedrooms is ensuite and the family bathroom completes the upstairs.
