Property achieves over double the reserve price at auction

We were delighted with the recent successful sale of Ballymotey More, County Wexford, by online auction, powered by Offr achieving over double the asking price. The property was a derelict cottage on land extending to 4.42 acres. Bidding started at 3pm with an opening bid of €80,000 and concluded at 4pm with a total of 25 registered bidders and 71 bids in total. It had a reserve price of €80,000 with bidding finishing at €170,500 which resulted in a sale price of €90,500 over the AMV.

Having 25 registered bidders showed that the market is still in a great place currently even in lockdown 3.0 and the price achieved was exceptional, showing that land prices are still as strong as ever.
