Lucan is a suburban town in South Dublin located 13 km from Dublin city centre. It is located off the N4 road network between County Kildare and Palmerstown. The area is serviced by two national railway lines in Lexlip and Adamstown train stations and benefits from an extensive Dublin Bus service. A new Luas line for the town is planned under the Irish infrastructure plan ‘Transport 21’.
