We had an exhilarating day at the Sherry FitzGerald Groupwide briefing held in the historic surroundings of Croke Park on Thursday 22nd February. The event was filled with inspiration, knowledge sharing, and of course, plenty of motivation to fuel our journey ahead.
Sherry FitzGerald, CEO Steven McKenna hosted the event attended by over 250 employees from across the Group. In conversation with Director of Operations Triona Gorman, Steven spoke about the recent successful acquisition of Simon Brien Residential in Northern Ireland, marking a significant milestone in our company's journey.
He shared the strategic rationale behind the acquisition, emphasising the synergies and opportunities it presents for the Group. The expansion into Northern Ireland not only enhances our geographical reach but also enriches our portfolio of offerings, positioning us as a formidable player in the market.
However, what truly resonated with the audience was Steven’s unwavering commitment to fostering lifelong relationships with our clients. In a world where transactions often overshadow genuine connections, Steven’s emphasis on developing "clients for life" struck a chord with everyone present.
One of the most anticipated moments of the conference was the address by the renowned motivational speaker and All Ireland winning hurling Manager, Liam Sheedy. With years of experience in motivating individuals and teams to achieve their full potential, Liam shared invaluable insights on the winning self and the art of motivating teams.
A key takeaway from Liam's address was the importance of cultivating a winning mindset within us. Finally, in a thought-provoking address, Sherry FitzGerald Managing Director Marian Finnegan provided a comprehensive overview of the economic and political landscape shaping the Irish property market. She delved into the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, offering valuable insights for all stakeholders.
Amidst these challenges, Marian discussed the key performance indicators in the residential market, shedding light on trends and patterns that offer valuable intelligence for stakeholders. Through a meticulous analysis of data and market dynamics, she provided clarity on factors driving demand, supply, and pricing in the residential segment.
The day concluded with the much-anticipated National Awards Ceremony, recognising excellence and customer service in our business. Setting the bar high, it's a tremendous achievement for them.
