According to the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights, 38% of Irish LGBTQ+ individuals experienced discrimination in various areas, including workplaces, social outlets, and sports clubs, in 2019.
According to Steven McKenna, CEO of Sherry FitzGerald, the company is “dedicated to ensuring that all clients and employees feel welcome and respected. By joining the Certified Proud network, we intend to foster safe and inclusive environments that are inclusive of all individuals, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation”.
