Sherry FitzGerald Announces Sponsorship with Historic Houses of Ireland

Wednesday 21st February 2024

Sherry FitzGerald has announced a sponsorship agreement with Historic Houses of Ireland (HHI). This collaboration marks a significant alliance between Sherry FitzGerald, the exclusive affiliates of Christie's International Real Estate, and the esteemed organisation dedicated to representing Ireland's privately owned historic houses and castles.

Historic Houses of Ireland (HHI) was established in 2008 to promote and foster the immediate and long-term future of Irish privately-owned historic properties, together with their associated parks, gardens, estates, contents, and archives. Now representing over 180 houses across Ireland, some of which have been in the same family for generations, others more recently acquired by owners dedicated to their survival, HHI plays a crucial role in preserving and celebrating Ireland's unique architectural and cultural heritage.

As the official property sponsor for HHI, Sherry FitzGerald is eager to contribute valuable property-related insights and support to assist in the organisation's mission. Roseanne De Vere Hunt, Head of Sherry FitzGerald Country Homes expressed her enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "We are delighted to align ourselves with Historic Houses of Ireland, an organisation that shares our passion for preserving and celebrating Ireland's unique architectural and cultural heritage and we look forward to playing a role in the sustainable development and flourishing of Ireland's rich heritage through our association with Historic Houses of Ireland.”

Historic Houses of Ireland Chairman Thomas Cosby saidWe’re delighted that Sherry FitzGerald Country Homes has chosen to partner with us and we look forward to working closely with them over the coming years. Our members are committed to preserving Ireland’s built heritage for future generations, in support of the Heritage Council’s ‘Our Place in Time’ Strategic Plan.  Roseanne and her team will play a vital role in that effort, and we are grateful for their expertise, energy, and friendship.”
