Sherry FitzGerald Expands Cork Network with New Glanmire Branch

Sherry FitzGerald has expanded its Cork network with the opening of a new branch in Glanmire. It is the firm’s first wholly owned office launch in Cork in 25 years, following the establishment of its flagship Lapps Quay branch through the acquisition of Burton Crowley O’Flynn in 2000.
The new branch is prominently located across from Glanmire GAA Club in Sallybrook and will serve the eastern suburbs including Glanmire, Glounthaune, and Carrigtwohill, as well as the north city suburbs stretching from Ballyvolane and Mayfield towards Montenotte.
The branch will be led by Regional Director Ann O’Mahony together with an accomplished sales team of negotiators — Paul Fenton, Katie Fennessy and Dan Linehan — who bring extensive local market knowledge and proven track records in delivering results for clients. They will be supported by Derek Moloney as Branch Operations Officer, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Sherry FitzGerald already holds the highest market share in the area, underpinned by a strong track record in New Homes. Current and upcoming developments include Ballinglanna, an O’Flynn Group scheme of more than 600 homes now nearing completion; the recently approved Dunkettle development, comprising 550 homes and due to launch in 2026; and a further 500-unit scheme for which planning is expected to be lodged shortly.

The Glanmire branch further strengthens Sherry FitzGerald’s footprint in Cork, where the company already operates its flagship Lapps Quay office and seven franchise offices, bringing its total to nine locations across the county.
