Apprenticeship
Our apprenticeship programme runs for 2 years and starts in September.
The Auctioneering and Property Services apprenticeship program is a two-year program that is designed to support school leavers and mature students in a property services career. It is a combination of on the job learning for four days a week and one day a week in college. On completion of the two-year program, the apprentice is eligible to apply for a Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA) license.
The application process is directly through the institution, however once you are accepted on the course you will need to find an employer to work with while completing this course. Sherry FitzGerald partners with these institutions in supporting students during this apprenticeship programme.
This would involve working weekends on a rota basis.
We have offices in Dublin, Limerick, Cork and Galway and we offer the apprenticeship in these locations.

From day one, I received support from my mentor and colleagues, they were always generous with their time, guidance and encouragement. The hands-on learning environment allowed me to build real world experience while expanding my knowledge of the property industry across residential sales, lettings, new homes and client services. Siobhan Monaghan: The apprenticeship programme in Sherry FitzGerald has been such a rewarding experience. Over the two years, I’ve been able to gain real, hands-on experience working in the property industry, while also building my knowledge and skills through one day of college each week. The balance between learning in the classroom and applying it straight into practice has been invaluable.
What has made the biggest difference for me is the support I’ve received from Sherry FitzGerald throughout the programme. Having the opportunity to learn directly from such an experienced and respected team has given me practical insights and confidence that I couldn’t have gained elsewhere.
Whether you’re just out of school or making a career change, I’d definitely recommend the apprenticeship. It’s a fantastic way to get started in property services and to work towards your PSRA license.
