Description
Constructed of stone with a pitched, slate roof, the house was probably built over 100 years ago It is in need of significant renovation throughout, but offers the perspective purchaser a great opportunity to have a detached home on a large mature site.
The house is traditional in its layout, with the front porch leading directly into the living room with two bedrooms on one side side, a sitting room on the other with a small kitchenette and large bathroom to the rear.
The house is in a peaceful setting and is well set-back from the road, accessed by a quiet cul de sac. There is a large overgrown lawn area to the rear with a 2 bay hay shed. Across the small lane there are a selection of mass concrete buildings which provide great storage or housing for animals. Two local farmers have a right of way to land behind the cottage.
Electricity and water coming to the building but not connected. Septic tank onsite.
