Description
The entrance hall, kitchen and utility are tiled creating a natural flow as you enter the house. The sitting room has a wooden floor and a cast iron fireplace with a wood surround. Double doors lead to the kitchen / dining room. The kitchen units are walnut and white combining freshness and warmth. There is a cook’s delight in terms of a five-ring gas cooker and electric oven. The dining area has large sliding doors to the rear garden. The dishwasher, washing machine and dryer are housed in the utility room which also has a walnut worktop.
To the left of the front door a charming bright room currently used as a downstairs bedroom. A carpeted stairs leads to the first floor. The master bedroom is in fact the original ensuite bedroom and the adjoining smaller room. It therefore has two beautiful windows ensuring a perfect light filled space which is enhanced by a feature wall and built in wardrobe with bespoke mirrored doors.
The second and third bedrooms are artistically decorated and generously proportioned. A fully tiled family bathroom completes the accommodation on this floor. A wooden staircase leads to the second floor, where there is a very large room with a shower room and two Velux windows to the rear. This would make an ideal playroom, study or office and would provide ample storage. Outside the rear garden has a convenient shed and a neat lawn.
Situated in a quiet enclave with an open green space this is indeed a perfect family home.

About the Area
Tuam (pop. 8,242) is a town in County Galway, situated west of the midlands of Ireland, and north of Galway city. Tuam is best known as a centre of church affairs, ancient and modern and has two cathedrals. The town owes its foundation to a monastery established here in the 6th century by St. Jarlath. The ruins of Temple Jarlath, in the centre of the city, date from around 1360. The 14' 12 century High Cross of Tuam, a decorated sandstone piece, was once broken in three, with each piece in different ownership. It is now situated in the rebuilt (1878) Church of Ireland cathedral, which has a magnificent red sandstone chancel arch in laboured Romanesque, erected certainly between 1128 and 1152.
