Description
On entering the front door, you are greeted by the freshly painted entrance hall with a carpeted stairs. To the right of the front hall is a good-sized living room with a large stove with back boiler, wooden floor, and a large window to the front. A door from this room to the rear of the house. This space is currently used as a dining / sitting room. The dining / sitting room is a large bright space with two windows overlooking the rear garden. Just off this room is a compact kitchen which features solid pine units and a tiled floor. To the left of the front hall is a room that would make an ideal office, study, playroom or optional downstairs bedroom. With so many continuing to work from home this is great addition to any home. A convenient guest WC under the stairs completes the ground floor. A carpeted stairs and landing leads to four well laid out bedrooms. All have solid pine floor, two of which have fully tiled ensuites. A fully tiled family bathroom completes the first-floor accommodation. Just to note this house has a large attic which can be converted into further accommodation. The front of the house has a tarmac driveway with parking for two cars. The rear garden is enclosed with a side gate, there is a good-sized lawn, and it is not overlooked from the back. Please contact Sherry FitzGerald Todd for appointment on 09326622 or info@sftodd.ie

About the Area
Tuam (pop. 8,242) is a town in County Galway, situated west of the midlands of Ireland, and north of Galway city. Tuam is best known as a centre of church affairs, ancient and modern and has two cathedrals. The town owes its foundation to a monastery established here in the 6th century by St. Jarlath. The ruins of Temple Jarlath, in the centre of the city, date from around 1360. The 14' 12 century High Cross of Tuam, a decorated sandstone piece, was once broken in three, with each piece in different ownership. It is now situated in the rebuilt (1878) Church of Ireland cathedral, which has a magnificent red sandstone chancel arch in laboured Romanesque, erected certainly between 1128 and 1152.
