Description
This property comes to the market with four double bedrooms, garage and landscaped gardens. A tarmac drive leads up to the front door, here you are greeted with a hallway with its solid timber floor done in the most beautiful mosaic square pattern design. To the left of the hall you enter into the large living room with carpet floor and oil fired stove. Just off the living room you enter into the kitchen with tiled floor and white shaker style kitchen units, sink under the picture window looking out into the landscaped rear garden. There is a back hallway off the kitchen leading to the utility, convenient toilet and large garage which could be converted into accommodation. As you walk further down the main front hallway you will find the family bathroom with bath, shower and fully tiled. Four fine sized double bedrooms all with ample space and garden views completes the property. The garden area in this case reflects the commitment to perfection so obvious inside the house. The large garage is blocked and has both window and roller door access. A garden shed offers further storage.
This house stands on just over a half acre site, all of which has been carefully planned. The hard landscaping, the patio, paths, and kerbing are perfect. Shrubs, trees and a small orchard soften the space while you stand to take in the beauty. This property isn’t just a home—it’s a lifestyle opportunity. About the Area
Tuam (pop. 8,242) is a town in County Galway, situated west of the midlands of Ireland, and north of Galway city. Tuam is best known as a centre of church affairs, ancient and modern and has two cathedrals. The town owes its foundation to a monastery established here in the 6th century by St. Jarlath. The ruins of Temple Jarlath, in the centre of the city, date from around 1360. The 14' 12 century High Cross of Tuam, a decorated sandstone piece, was once broken in three, with each piece in different ownership. It is now situated in the rebuilt (1878) Church of Ireland cathedral, which has a magnificent red sandstone chancel arch in laboured Romanesque, erected certainly between 1128 and 1152.
