Description
The property itself is a testament to quality and meticulous design. With five bedrooms, two reception rooms, a kitchen/dining area, two bathrooms, and a utility room, it provides ample space for comfortable living. The hallway serves as the heart of the home, connecting all of these spaces seamlessly.
Unique doorway design opening off this hallway is the first of many special features you notice. The sitting room has beautiful wood flooring that run throughout, dual aspect windows and eye-catching ceiling detail. It also has an open fireplace.
The kitchen is bright with tiled effect flooring, white units, grey island and well-organized use of all the space, making it both an efficient kitchen and a hub for the family. The reception area of the kitchen has a solid fuel stove and double windows for lots of natural light. The dining room also has the tiled effect flooring and Velux windows for extra light as well as double doors leading to the patio with ramp and step.
There is one large bedroom downstairs for easy accessibility. The remaining four bedrooms are up the beautiful timber open staircase. They are accessed from a light filled hallway. Four double bedrooms and a large main bath with corner tub and shower complete the upstairs.
This property has a recently upgraded, large capacity water cylinder and cavity insulation, giving it a B2 energy rating. The heating of the home is by gas LPG.
What truly sets this property apart is its excellent condition and high-quality finishes. The attention to detail is evident throughout the second you walk in the door, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere. The large south-facing garden to the side and rear of the property adds a touch of nature, providing a perfect spot for relaxation or outdoor activities.
Completing the ensemble is a large-sized insulated shed, offering practical storage solutions for tools, equipment, or perhaps even a workshop for those with creative inclinations. Great potential to turn this space into extra accommodation as an annex.
The convenient location is another highlight of this residence. Galway City is a mere 50 minutes away, making it accessible for work, leisure, or cultural activities. About the Area
Tuam (pop. 8,242) is a town in County Galway, situated west of the midlands of Ireland, and north of Galway city. Tuam is best known as a centre of church affairs, ancient and modern and has two cathedrals. The town owes its foundation to a monastery established here in the 6th century by St. Jarlath. The ruins of Temple Jarlath, in the centre of the city, date from around 1360. The 14' 12 century High Cross of Tuam, a decorated sandstone piece, was once broken in three, with each piece in different ownership. It is now situated in the rebuilt (1878) Church of Ireland cathedral, which has a magnificent red sandstone chancel arch in laboured Romanesque, erected certainly between 1128 and 1152.
