Description
Location Dowsain Ghor enjoys a lovely country setting in Knockmark, Drumree, combining open countryside and a strong local community with the convenience of nearby Dunshaughlin. It is a location that allows you to enjoy the space and slower pace of rural life while remaining close to the town. Dunshaughlin offers an excellent range of everyday amenities, including supermarkets, independent shops, cafés and restaurants, along with primary and secondary schools. Its library, sporting facilities and community organisations add to its appeal for families. The surrounding Drumree area has a well-established community spirit, with local sporting life centred around clubs such as Drumree GAA, which caters for hurling and camogie. This sense of belonging is a particularly attractive aspect of the area for those putting down roots. For commuters, the M3 provides onward access to the M50, Dublin city and Dublin Airport, while rail services are available from M3 Parkway at Pace. These connections make the area an appealing choice for purchasers seeking a country home within reach of the capital. Garden and grounds Set on approximately 1.16 acres (0.47 hectares), the gardens provide a wonderful sense of space and an attractive setting for Dowsain Ghor. Generous lawns extend around the house, complemented by established trees and boundary planting, with sweeping views across the adjoining countryside. The open outlook is one of the property’s most memorable features. Wide stretches of sky and views over the surrounding fields give the grounds a distinctly rural feel, while providing a beautiful backdrop to the principal living spaces. Glazed doors connect the open-plan kitchen, dining and living room directly with the garden, making it easy to move outdoors for summer meals, entertaining or a quiet morning coffee. There is ample room for children to play, alongside scope for keen gardeners to introduce further planting, a kitchen garden or additional seating areas. A generous surfaced driveway provides ample parking and circulation space beside the house.
