Sherry FitzGerald Group Appoints Marian Finnegan as Chief Executive Officer

Sherry FitzGerald Group, Ireland’s largest estate agency, is pleased to announce the appointment of Marian Finnegan as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Marian has been an integral part of Sherry FitzGerald for nearly 30 years. She was the first economist appointed to a property company in Ireland when she established our Research arm in 1996. Subsequently, Marian was appointed as Chief Economist and joined the board of Sherry FitzGerald Group in 1998, reflecting her growing influence on its strategic direction.
Most recently, in 2019, she was appointed Managing Director of Sherry FitzGerald Residential & Advisory, where she successfully guided the business through significant expansion and digital transformation, while also leading its renowned Research division.
Marian holds a master’s degree in economics from NUI Galway (1993). Prior to joining Sherry FitzGerald, she lectured in economics at the University of Limerick and Shannon College of Hotel Management.
Marian is widely recognised as one of the leading commentators on the Irish housing market and regularly contributes economic and property insights across national and international media.
